Calling full toll free from any mobile number, Bangladeshi citizens will get the fire service, police or ambulance service in an emergency. 999 Service-trained agents will communicate with the Fire Service, Police or Ambulance Service Providers, in a timely emergency as per your requirement. Details about how to use this service are explained below.
National helpdesk-999 operators have been trained to provide various types of call and emergency services. These agents are getting some technical support to provide accurate and quality service. However, when a citizen calls on 999, it is advisable to keep the following things in mind.
1. Address Address: The most important and essential information needed for emergency services is to find the location or address of the candidate. Tell the operator (agent) as your exact position as possible, in this case, the name of the district or upazila will also be called. If you do not know your exact location, you can mention the name of the surrounding big road, market or highway.
2. Providing correct answers to the questions: To provide you the right services, the operator or emergency service provider (in this case, the police, fire service, ambulance service provider) will ask you some questions so that they can tell you the appropriate authority or authority. Or you can give some tips or suggestions about life saving. Help the operator by providing the right answer to such questions.
