Huge Losses by Cyclone in Patanushar

Today, on Sunday 28/04/2019, nearly half a million more houses were destroyed in Kamalishakhi union of Kamalganj upazila on Sunday. Hundreds of trees have been uprooted. Electricity torn apart and broke the poles, the power system was upset.
A buffalo died in Padanusha village of Keolar Haore during thunderstorm.
Padanusha Union Parishad panel chairman Narayan Mallik Sagar said that more than 200 homes of the union were completely devastated and more than 300 homes were partially destroyed. Hundreds of hundreds of greens are uprooted. It will take some time to gather the whole information.
He said most of the losses in the incidence of Dhupatila and Padanusha were in the villages.
